The new Pavement reissue of Wowee Zowee is getting a lot of buzz. Due November 7th, it's a nicely packaged, two-disc set with several studio outtakes and live tracks.
When the original album was released in 1995, the record wasn't embraced as one of their better efforts. It wasn't as accessible as Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain or as classic as Slanted and Enchanted.
Over the years, a new found appreciation has grown, from critics and fans alike. Elements of many genres are scattered throughout, in what turns out to be one of their stronger records.
