Slate Mag Looks At The "Melancholy Greatness of LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends"

Slate points out that the song in question has already been covered by two respected artists-New Order and John Cale, which, according to them, only solidifies it's greatness.

Just a note, 'All of My Friends' hasn't been covered by New Order but rather Franz Ferdinand. They sound a bit NO on the song though. New Order are actually broken up, sadly enough.

I thought New Order got back together a couple of years ago for a brief tour/album though.

They have been together but Peter Hook was interviewed about a month ago and indicated Bernard was pretty much content with other projects and didn't want to do anything else as New Order. It could all change in 5 seconds of course.
