My Morning Jacket To Play Special Gig

Mmj

My Morning Jacket have announced a first-headlining Radio City Music Hall for the first time on June 20th.

It will surely be used as a platform to throw new songs into the mix. Their new untitled album will be released the week prior to the show on June 10th, which is being produced by Jim James and multi-grammy winner Joe Chiccarelli, who has worked with a few lightweights like The Shins, Brian Wilson and The White Stripes.

A few other dates are scheduled with My Morning Jacket playing with Yo La Tengo at the Houston Verizon Wireless Theatre on March 10th, and at the Austin Music Hall on March 13th. Jim James will also be performing solo at Austin’s St. David’s Church on March 15th.

Be there!

  • Indieblogheaven is a music blog, primarily focusing on indie bands/artists. This may include some americana, pop, punk, or whatever we might like at the time. There might be some pop culture sprinkled in periodically. Mp3s are for sampling only--go out and support the artist, if you like what you hear.
