Metric

Spin got the exclusive last week at Coachella, grabbing Jimmy Shaw and Emily Haines of Metric to do an acoustic version of "Give Me Sympathy," which will be on their new album this fall.

They braved the 103 degree temps without breaking a sweat, on what looks like a golf course.

Hopefully they didn't slow up play too badly.

It's a nice track, and Emily is looking good in less clothing than usual....mmmm.

Millions Download New Coldplay Track

Coldplay_2

Radiohead might want to reconsider dropping this whole "free movement."

Coldplay's free download of their single "Violet Hill" was downloaded two million times last week, which in the UK, if it had been chart eligible, would have outsold last week’s Top 40 four times over.

By the way, it's not free anymore...at least on their website.

Download through iTunes or some blog somewhere, then weep.
