Mercury Music Prize Nominees Announced
Last year the Klaxons won for Myths of the Near Future, and now we wonder who could be next as Britain's Mercury Music Prize Nominees were announced today.
Alex Turner scores his third nomination in a row thanks to his Arctic Monkeys and now The Last Shadow Puppets run that he's had.
That has to be a record, wouldn't you think?
Here's the full list of nominees. Stay tuned.
Adele - 19
British Sea Power - Do You Like Rock Music?
Burial - Untrue
Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
Estelle - Shine
Laura Marling - Alas I Cannot Swim
Neon Neon - Stainless Style
Portico Quartet - Knee-Deep in the North Sea
Rachel Unthank & The Winterset - The Bairns
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss - Raising Sand
The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age of the Understatement

God I hope Laura Marling wins. She deserves more recognition.

Should be Radiohead, still at least one step ahead of the others. The Shadow Puppets are good too, though.
