Video: The Hold Steady Perform On Letterman

Holdsteady

The Hold Steady got a ton of face time on Letterman last night in a skit that mocked Craig Finn not exactly looking like a sex symbol, and then the band launched into "Sequestered in Memphis."

They got complemented in the skit as "quietly becoming the best rock band in America."

Nice to see the national audience giving them some love.

The new record, Stay Positive came out on Tuesday and it's very strong. Go get it.

About Indieblogheaven

  • Indieblogheaven is a music blog, primarily focusing on indie bands/artists. This may include some americana, pop, punk, or whatever we might like at the time. There might be some pop culture sprinkled in periodically. Mp3s are for sampling only--go out and support the artist, if you like what you hear. If you are the owner of a sound file, and would like it removed, e-mail me, and I'll pull it ASAP. Due to bandwidth issues, mp3's will only be up for a few days at a time each.
