Bloc Party threw us a curveball today, in something that was very Raconteur-like.
"Hi there, and oh by the way, here comes our album."
That would be this Thursday for the digital download.
Expect them to be the most talked about band on the blogosphere over the next week or two.
The interesting thing about this move-it's either a way to not let critics review the album early and pan it, meaning it's not that good, or it's a great way to let you the fan have their product immediately.
In case you're not a fan of mp3 quality, look for the CD to be released on October 27th.
