The new supergroup called Tinted Windows featuring former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos, Taylor Hanson from Hanson, and Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger is pretty strong.
Sure, they aren't doing anything groundbreaking, but if you are looking for catchy power pop, these guys bring it on the track "Kind of a Girl."

And I like the idea of good' ol 90's-college-indie-punk-pop (and not that similar tagged 2K-MySpace-Emo-Rock-Crap) coming back and making a fresh and easy summer vibe in 2009.
