After telling you to put down the chicken fingers, Bruce and the E Street band delivered a solid performance, besides the slide across the stage right into the camera man of course.
I know the man has a new album to promote, but doing "Working On A Dream" was probably the only misstep.
I have been a Bruce fan since the early 70's. He is an american icon and I admire his genious in song writing and his social conscience, HOWEVER, he really left me down Sunday when he said he was going to Disneyland. I sure hope he was joking but I fear not.
For someone who had the sensibility to speak out against Bush and partcipate in a myriad of protests agains nukes, wars, political stupidity, he sold himself out with that one sentence. I'm shaving my soul patch. Just goes to show you, nothing and nobody is sacred. Sad very sad.
