If you like low budget videos that are entertaining and disturbing, the Liars new video is for you. "The Overachievers" is for you. If this doesn't remind you of "American Psycho," the Christian Bale take on Tom Cruise, than you need to go back and re-watch that puppy. Check out the video here.
I guess we have some decisions to make. In light of Apple buying music service Lala, Apple has now announced they will be shutting it down on May 31st.
It's been rumored that Apple may make a web-based version of iTunes, although that seems unlikely at this point.
The shut down of Lala will affect several blogs as well, including us and Pitchfork, who use the service.
Band of Horsesreleased a time-lapsed video for their new track, "NW Apt." It's a bit of a rocker. Another strong track off of Infinite Arms, which hasn't disappointed one bit, in the four songs that have appeared on the internets.
All we see is day long scenes of gorgeous shots in the country, which seems a little odd due to the tempo of the song.
The National have announced a pretty deep tour, showing confidence that their new album High Violet may have some staying power. They also say that more dates will be added. There are already a ton of dates!
Likely, they will be playing within five miles from where you live at some point.
The new Interpol album was rumored to be out by now, but it keeps getting pushed back until ? We must be getting closer though, because the band sent us a nice press release, pointing you in the direction of their website. It appears as if you are floating out in space, with some good sound in the headphones, I might add.
They ask for your e-mail and birthday, then ship the song "Lights" to you. You don't even have to go to the website, just do it from the widget below. Enjoy!
The Whigs definitely have an energy live, with a strong skill for writing memorable hooks.
The boys did a nice version of "Hundred Million" for Jimmy Fallon last night. It's one of many highlights off their latest album, In the Dark, which is out now.
There you go kids. It's the new Wolf Parade album cover. We still don't know the exact release date for Expo 86, although it should be late June or early July.
Those kids on the cover are relatives of guitarist Dante DeCaro, by the way.
