I have to say, Mickey Thomas was a pleasure to talk to. He's from the South, and has that charm to him, and a little bit of the accent.
He came into the radio station a couple of weeks ago, and we sat down for probably about a half an hour to discuss his career, which I'll be posting here in the next week.
Part one and two, we started at the beginning. Him joining Elvin Bishop, and how "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" was an accident.
Also, part two he talks about how he wanted a solo career. Then he got a call that changed it all forever.
