Conor Oberst dropped by KRUU and debuted two more new songs off the forthcoming Bright Eyes album, The People's Key.
The first track, "One For You, One For Me" is a slower, yet slightly mid-tempo number with what could be drum programming.
The second song, "A Machine Spiritual" is also slower, but is a little more interesting, sonically speaking.

KROQ in L.A. has been doing their Almost Acoustic Christmas for 21 years now, assembling a lineup that rivals most festivals.
This years festivities were no different, with two days of Cake, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Smashing Pumpkins, Broken Bells, Florence and the Machine, The Black Keys, Vampire Weekend and Phoenix, to name some.

Now we know where the album title of Elbow's new album came from. "Build a Rocket Boys" is a lyric from the new track "Lippy Kids," which is very mellow and nostalgic.
Frontman Guy Garvey asks "Does he know these days are golden," reminiscing about a time he wish he had back. It might not be one of their best songs, but it shows that these guys write interesting material, that is more compelling than most.
