
The new Fleet Foxes track starts quiet, acoustic, with reverb like the band is in a church. Then the intensity builds into something irresistible, with the usual harmonies, which are their signature. I can’t wait for the new album. The Kills are back with a track called “Satellite,” from their forthcoming album “Blood Pressures, out in early April.
It starts as a machine gun attack of digital firepower. Then it settles into a crunchy, fuzzed out, mid-tempo grind. It’s a little edgy. Kind of like The Dead Weather.

Michael Stipe is looking a little older, but good with gray beard in this performance of "Oh My Heart." Thanks to Stereogum, we get to see the band huddled up in a circle, performing this tribute to New Orleans. As Stipe says in the video, "playing in a tight circle made the song." Watch it below.
