Old school always returns somehow. Disney brilliantly re-releases movies, and then puts them on moratorium. Then they do it all over again 10 years later. I won't even get into fashion.
The Strokes have dipped into the retro with their new album cover for Angles (above). Think Q-Bert. It would be cool if it were 1982. So, is it a metaphor for the sound of the album, or were they all just hammered one night?
Maybe they can have their next album look like Atari’s version of Pong.
I like their new single but the cover art hurts my eyes :/
