Arcade Fire Performs "Haiti" in Haiti

Arcade Fire did what sounds like an amazing set in Haiti. They did a 45 minute surprise gig in Port-Au-Prince the other night, which was loaded with covers. Who wouldn't want to see the band do CCR's "Who'll Stop the Rain," Rolling Stones "The Last Time," or Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun?" UPDATE: SEE BOTH OF THOSE HERE.

They had to also do "Haiti" which you can catch below. 

Hear Yet Another Foo Fighters Track-"Arlandria"

This isn't as strong as yesterday's leakage of "Bridge Burning," but I'm not going to complain at all. Foo Fighters might be saving what's left of rock and roll. This has a Fountains of Wayne "Stacy's Mom" type of feel, but not quite as strong as that. It's called "Arlandria," from Wasted Light, out April 12th.

Watch The Strokes Go Black and White On Fallon Last Night

The Strokes did a couple of interesting things last night while on Jimmy Fallon. They did the track "You're So Right" in black and white. They also had Nick doing moans and growns that started off a little odd, but got better as it went along. 

A little strange, but it will keep you watching for sure. Take a look below. 

New Foo Fighters Rocks! "Bridge Burning"

Ok, now we are talking. This is THE Foo Fighters song. We've heard clips, and seen live videos, and had a couple of videos for good measure. This should have been the first single, instead of that weak sauce, "Rope." This is "All My Life" Foo Fighters. Great riff, great hook, great lyrics, and moments where it really rocks. 

Some Kind of Awesome has it.

In the new Fleet Foxes video for "Ocean Grown," we get a behind the scenes from the studio they are recording the new album in. We also get a grainy look at all of their travels. The new album Helplessness Blues will be out on May 3rd.

Vetiver is back with their easy style indie sound, on the cool new track "Can't You Tell." This is a perfect mood song, especially if you were on the beach sipping on a margarita. Nothing but bluer than blue ocean as far as the eye could see. 

The new album The Errant Charm will be out on Sub Pop on June 14th.

Ted Leo is a busy guy. Now add interviewer to his list of credits. Doing a strong job for IFC, he talked with several celebs at SXSW. The list includes, Liz Phair, Billy Bob Thornton, J. Mascis, Emmylou Harris, and several others.
