Beck has produced the new Thurston Moore record, Demolished Thoughts, and now comes the second preview off the album called, "Circulation." 

All you have to do is like Moore's Facebook Fan Page. The new record is out May 24th on Matador. 

Take A Peek At Eddie Vedder's New Album Cover

We told you about Eddie Vedder's forthcoming solo album, and gave you the track, "Longing To Belong." Now, here comes the artwork, which is one of my favorites of the year so far. As you can see, the guy didn't make it while probably writing a book. Let that be a lesson to all of you aspiring novelists out there. 

The artist that did the cover explained it this way on his website. 

"The desk is covered with a collection of newspaper articles and cuttings that date back to the 1970s. Many of these have political significance, a number detail Grenada’s alignment with Cuba in the period immediately prior to the revolution. The work informs the rapid changes in communication between generations. Taking the form of a traditional correspondent, the lone figure becomes little more than a relic, a fossil in a lost word." 

Look for the album May 31st.

What happens when Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Pat Smear and Mike Watt are all in the same town? They call each other up and do an unrehearsed jam live. They do "Big Door" with Vedder on the far left, Grohl pounding the drums and Smear next to Vedder. Shot from a fan, but cool to watch nonetheless.

Big Boi and Modest Mouse Join Forces

I don't know how these guys got together, but it could be one of the more intriguing music marriages in recent memory. Big Boi has tweeted a couple of times about him working with Modest Mouse. In one of those he says, "Been camped out in the Lab with Modest Mouse all week, workin on the new mouse LP, coolest cats ever. Long Live The Funk." What, is George Clinton on this record too? Stay tuned.

Lykke Li is trying to patch up things with her father in her new video "Sadness Is A Blessing." It's very uncomfortable how it starts. The whole restaurant is watching her every move in silence as she keeps drinking vodka. She breaks out in a dance, only to be told to stop by the restaurant. Pretty cool. Watch below.
