Will Okkervil River employ other people to sing their songs this time? Ok, so that was the last album. Not happening this time? It might be due to the differences in material from I Am Very Far to their last album, The Stand Ins, which was far more upbeat in nature. The new album is more of a departure, and a darker affair than past efforts. It may take a few listens to really appreciate it.
Take a listen over at NPR. New record out next Tuesday 5/10.
