Yes, Conor Oberst calls Tom Morello one of his heros believe it or not. You can even hear it in this video. Oberst must have mentioned Morello in a magazine before. As soon as Oberst said the word "hero" some drunk guy yells "F-yeah Tom Morello" before he was even announced. This was at the Ottawa Folk Festival over the weekend. Great solo and to watch Morello's technique is absolutely fascinating. Enjoy.
