Although they are slowly being sprinkled out this morning, the video presentation of the Spotify apps looks pretty cool. First, I like the fact that they have added in Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and others to the mix. It softens the blow of losing a truckload of indie labels as of late. You don’t need them if you have Pitchfork built in, and you hopefully will get new music way before the release date, so that’s a huge win.
There is also a lyric finder, a mood agent that will give you a playlist based on you being happy, angry, etc. Let’s just hope this isn’t like Google Plus, where you wait for an eternity to jump on board.
