A.C. Newman, Mr. New Pornographers frontman himself is back with a new solo album, "Shut Down These Streets." This guy is one of the best pop songwriters out there today. Great hooks, nice harmonies, a Beatle fans dream. As Carl (A.C.) stated to Huffington Post,

"You may recognize Neko Case’s voice in these songs, you may even think “This one sounds so much like a New Pornographers song” and you may ask yourself, “Who the hell are the New Pornographers?”
