It's been 14 years of greatness for the band Grandaddy, which is now coming to a close. The new record is another strong full-length from the band. At least they didn't end on a low note.
What's really frustrating about the breakup is that it is solely based on money. Money that they weren't making, as frontman Jason Lytle states in this Paste magazine feature
Lytle has moved away from Modesto, California in hopes of a new beginning.
He vows to tackle his next project "even harder than I ever did in all my years in the band, and making every second of it matter even more."
We can't imagine topping Grandaddy's incredible run, but we'll be waiting in line.
