When I'm in the mood for some good Trip-Hop, Thievery Corporation definitely comes to mind.
I got the new album, Versions in the mail the other day, put it on, and was transported to another place.
Some interesting artists are sampled or perform on this mellow bliss, which include Herb Albert, The Doors, Norah Jones and Sarah Mclachlan.
The only complaint, if there even is one, is with the promo-we didn't get to see the rumored 25 page booklet that everyone is talking about. It's supposed to pay homage to the Beatles Revolver.
Oh well, we will just rob the 17 year old around the corner.
"Hey look, Fall Out Boy." It works everytime.
Anyway, have a hot chick (or dude) come over have a few drinks, throw Versions on, and the sultry slowwwwwwww passionate tongues will be intertwined throughout the night. Send me the video.
Thievery Corporation w/Norah Jones-Angels mp3 both from Versions
Thievery Corporation-Strange Days mp3 (The Doors cover)
technically speaking, TC only did a remix of "Angels". Credit should be given to Wax Poetic.

Regarding the 32 page booklet that pays homage to the Beatles Revolver, go to this website, it displays the entire booklet and explains the process and conceptual thinking of the designers.
