You could pass them off as another Bruce Springsteen knockoff, or you can appreciate their craft. Gaslight Anthem are soon to return with new material, and now we have the title track off their forthcoming, "American Slang." A strong piece of work. The Boss would be proud.

To be fair, it's okay to pull the Boss knockoff card with them because even if that was all they were (which they're not) they'd still be better at it than anyone else.
